Material reflections on a fractured world.

My work is a reflection on the world I see around me, how it has changed, what humans make and how the material culture in which we live is evolving.

Aims

Building a saner future

My sculpture is driven by a desire to contribute to the work of securing a more humane and rational future. I want my work to act as a road sign, pointing away from the path we are on and quietly insisting: not this way. Art should work upon the public consciousness, holding a mirror to destruction and malicious intent.

My ambition is to create art for community centres, museums, public spaces, private individuals in order to generate reflection on the direction of modern politics and to help build a saner future.

'Nothing will end war unless the peoples themselves refuse to go to war.'

Albert Einstein

— Materiality

The 'material' of our world is not pristine and polished. It is in a state of entropy where destruction is as present as decay.
